Fam
'Fam' (meaning family) – the publication – features 25 stories and portraits drawn from the latest exhibition in the photojournalistic project Where are you from?, exhibited at Melbourne's Immigration Museum, 26 August 2023–28 January 2024.
Created by writer and curator Sabina McKenna, 'Fam' addresses the complexities of multicultural familial relationships, and seeks to redefine the conventional so-called Australian family portrait.

Hair
Hair by Where are you from? is based on the ‘Hair’ exhibition (2020) and exploring European beauty standards and its impacts on Black people and people of colour.
Featuring 26 stories, written by women living in Narrm (Melbourne, Australia), and corresponding portraits by photographer Shannon May Powell.
The series aims to build pride and identity for women with textured hair by celebrating its many variations.
